EVENTS WEDNESDAY, MARCH 9th WELCOME EVENT 9 pm @ The CLOCKTOWER Bar Welcome to Mammoth! This will be an informal night at one of the original old-school Mammoth bars, right across from the Village. There's no cover for this event. Just show up and meet some of the real skiers and boarders in the group before our first day on the hill. THURSDAY, MARCH 10th THURSDAY APRES-SKI 3-7pm @ Lakanuki (18 and over) SMACK! North 9 pm @ Igor's The infamous SMACK Thursday night (originally at Felt and now at O-Bar) goes North. This will be our first big event, with the boys and girls getting together for cocktails, music and carousing at one of the best restaurant bars in Mammoth. Last year's event at Igor's brought more than 400 boys and girls out. Music by DJ Josh Peace. FRIDAY, MARCH 11th Skiers, Studs, One Night Stands & Ski Bunnies FRIDAY APRES-SKI with DJ SCOTTY K 3-6pm @ Lakanuki (18 and over) Apres-ski events are the snowboarder equivalent of a very HAPPY HOUR. For many boarders (and wank-plankers), this is their favorite part of a ski week. THE PARTY @ 10,000 FEET with DJ BRETT HENRICHSEN 8 pm to 1 am. CATCH THE GONDOLA AT MAIN LODGE This party will be one of the highlights of the week, and is sure to become a tradition. Take a night-time ride in the gondola up the dark mountainside to our first mountain-top tea dance. The entire mountain will be ours. Masterbeat DJ BRETT HENRICHSEN spins White Party Palm Springs, Gay Days, New Years Eve LA, Altitude, and half the major parties in the free world. This event will stay open later if you guys want us to. SATURDAY, MARCH 12th Beers, Boys, Boarders & Babes. SATURDAY APRES-SKI with DJ SCOTTY K 3-7pm @ Lakanuki (18 and over) The Saturday après-ski is one of our biggest events, and a signature event during a ski weekend. Straight off the mountain, and into the bar. No changing, no showering. (Bossy, aren't we?) This year, we're excited to return to the premier après-ski bar in the Village, Lakanuki. This is where everyone wants to be, and the owners of Lakanuki have been huge supporters of Elevation from the beginning. The place will be packed, and we will hit capacity, so make sure that you buy your tickets ahead of time. CLIFFHANGER with DJ MANNY LEHMAN 9 pm to 1 am @ Canyon Lodge Last year's main event was out of control. Packed to capacity, we had to turn people away. This year, we are outgrowing the Fever space and taking over the largest performance space in Mammoth. Just like last year, we will sell this event out, so please buy your tickets ahead of time. DJ MANNY LEHMAN needs no introduction, but he is one of the top 5 DJs on the circuit, and is a resident at ROXY NYC, Avalon NY, Crobar Chicago, Nation DC and has spun the main event at every major circuit party in the world - White Party Palm Springs & Miami, Black and Blue, Gay Days, Fireball, Altitude, and on and on. SUNDAY, MARCH 13th SUNDAY APRES-SKI 3-7pm @ Canyon Lodge The Sunday après-ski will be our final event, and after tears and many margaritas, Elevation 2005 will be memories and a suntan, except for the last day of skiing on Monday. Mammoth midweek skiing is legendary - no lift lines and the whole mountain to explore. Along with those major events, we will also converge on selected mountain locations every morning and at lunchtime every day to meet and greet. We'll make restaurant recommendations each night for dinner, but reservations are up to you.
